Heading toward summer, we’re always watching for that perfect day-to-night look. Finding a single outfit that can take you from work to happy hour to date night is typically beyond impossible — but, this season, we managed to get a jump on it with HIPKNOTIES.
HIPKNOTIES are innovative, multi-way garments that easily convert to more than 30 different styles. Because they’re incredibly flexible in shape and styling, they can create one-size-fits-all dresses, tops and skirts — ultimately fitting all body types, figures and lifestyles.
We gathered a few friends to quickly slip into and style HIPKNOTIES — and the results were pretty fun. Each of us was able to knot her HIPKNOTIES garment into a fabulous creation with a unique fit:
Ready for yoga class on a chilly afternoon, Shanda’s HIPKNOTIES was perfectly tied up into a one-shoulder poncho. The loose wrap made from the mini HIPKNOTIES in lemon — and is the perfect cover-up before a workout or when heading to the pool this summer. The mini is a great go-to for convertible tops, but can also make a great scarf or short skirt.
Courtney also rocked an awesome HIPKNOTIES top with both fitted and draping elements. Make from the persimmon midi garment, her halter-style top created a perfect summery look and paired perfectly with tights, jeans or shorts. Coincidentally, the stretchy breathable fabric also makes this one excellent for a quick twist into a workout top. Plus, the slightly longer length of the midi make it great for short dresses, skirts and full infinity scarves.
Using the included bands, we were able to create a pretty halter-style maxi for Kate. The long dress was made from the HIPKNOTIES maxi-length garment tied and knotted in all the recommended places to accentuate her waist and shape. I also tried a maxi-length dress — opting instead to tie mine into a strapless dress with an accent in the top and drape in the back.
With so many options for how to shape and style them, we had a blast playing with HIPKNOTIES for an afternoon. However, we also decided that it would take a bit more time to see how they fit best and when we will most likely wear them. So — we’re going to keep you in the loop on these.
