True to its surroundings, the hair and beauty “bar” is just that. The wide, open room is decked in sleek white, rich eggplant purples and stunning golds topped by modern accents and exceptionally clean lines. The beauty of the decor swirls around a giant U-shaped bar at its center — stocked with the latest in Unite product and bartenders stylists ready to fulfill your every drink beauty whim. White leather salon chairs replace the more common bar stools and, instead of pinball, there’s a make up station that looks more like a candy store — but all the influences of a bar are there, including the cocktails.
It’s true. Along with your wash, style, makeup or touch up — you can snag a glass of champagne to toast your new look. Finally, a salon that gets me. This feature alone makes Posh KC a phenomenal place to get that pre-happy hour glow. Skip the mad rush home to fix yourself after work. As we’ve caught up with the Posh KC owners Ashley and Kelly at Kansas City Fashion Week and last night’s grand opening pre-party, we’ve gotten to know each of them so well and can honestly say you could not trust anyone better to get you glammed up for a night out.
