Kansas City Fashion Week often extends well beyond on the runway. Before the final show Saturday night, ULTA Beauty invited us to an exclusive happy hour for local fashionistas at Harvey’s in Union Station. Mixing and mingling with bloggers, designers and style-lovers alike, we explored ULTA’s hottest products, polishes and more while sampling signature cocktails.
Set below the beautiful clock at the center of the station, we celebrated the amazing week at Harvey’s top-level bar. Of course, ULTA was serving up more than cocktails with a full table dedicated to beauty.
Shanda gave a beautiful neutral Whim polish a try and ultimately raved that the result was the best her nails have looked on the fly. We thought so too — the shade was especially perfect for sneaking into summer with the night’s beautiful weather. The team also flipped through ultra-soft makeup brushes, polish swatches, Whish products and more.
After plenty of style talk, everyone began to slip away for the start of the final runway show. As we said our goodbyes, we each received a bag of goodies that only ULTA could create — face cleanser, illuminating powder, makeup brushes, lashes, mascara, lipstick and so much more. The collection was exceptional!
