At the 2011 American College of Surgeons (ACS) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, I served as the design lead and the sole on-site designer for the event’s overnight news publication. Our team designed and produced three issues, ensuring timely and high-quality coverage of the conference’s key sessions, announcements, and developments. Working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, I collaborated closely with writers, editors, and event organizers to bring the publication to life each morning. This experience honed my ability to work under tight deadlines, problem-solve in real-time, and maintain a keen eye for detail—all while delivering visually compelling and informative materials to thousands of attendees.
