Over the past few months, I’ve been making a more focused attempt at showing you just what designer life looks like behind the scenes of the finished portfolio. Most people see the end result and think “oh, hey, that looks pretty cool.” But rarely does anyone see the work and effort that really goes into making those cool things.
Enter, the MARKETMOX YouTube channel.
Clip after clip has been gracing the new channel in the past few weeks as one new project after another rolls off the production line. Most recently, I did a quick 180º on my plans for the day to go wrap up some emergency design edits for a client. The result — my usual chaos mixed with a quick drive to the office, some caffeine and jamming to some tunes in the headset while finishing things up.
Even if you’re typically the design client versus the actual designer, this is a pretty cool peek at a piece of the process you typically don’t see. It might also leave you with a bit more love for your designer when they jump through some major hoops to help you.
